The Site Finance Lead plays a critical role in ensuring financial integrity and compliance across site operations

Role Purpose

The Site Finance Lead is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective financial controls, and compliance with company policies at site level. This role oversees core financial processes including inventory management, asset verification, payroll submissions, cost control, and month-end closing activities. The position collaborates closely with operations, HR, and distribution teams to provide timely financial insights and support overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Order to Cash Management

  • Oversee driver shorts and conduct weekly and monthly review meetings.
  • Manage credit notes, including approvals and SAP processing.
  • Perform weekly and monthly reconciliations and provide feedback for IDC processes.
  • Manage freight order settlements and monthly journal clearing.
  • Verify IDC commission calculations and support IDC contract renewals.

Financial Management

  • Lead all site finance activities related to month-end close.
  • Prepare monthly financial forecasts and update them on a weekly basis.
  • Support functional leads in productivity initiatives and delivery.
  • Review and release purchase orders, ensuring follow-up on outstanding processes.
  • Monitor operating costs on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Update and analyze sales and production reports, including yields and cost metrics.
  • Maintain daily and monthly scorecards and financial reports, providing feedback to the HOD team.

Stock Management

  • Monitor flour stock variances and confirm through silo reconciliations.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly stock counts and post adjustments.
  • Monitor process orders and manage damage order settlements.

Payroll Management

  • Monitor overtime, ensuring proper approvals and corrections.
  • Submit manual payroll inputs and calculate driver commissions.
  • Oversee TES processes, including reporting, requisitions, approvals, and reconciliations.

Governance and Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures aligned with Enterprise Control requirements.
  • Execute weekly and monthly enterprise control activities to maintain strong financial governance.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Financial Accounting qualification (B.Com or equivalent).
  • 3–5 years of finance management experience, preferably within Retail or FMCG environments.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with presentation ability.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to self-manage in a complex, matrix environment.
  • Advanced computer literacy, including Excel, SAP, and MS Power Apps.
