Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and embed a customer-focused sales culture within the team.
- Conduct daily Gate Meetings before market operations, reviewing performance, execution, and discipline KPIs.
- Coach and mentor van sales representatives to enhance sales capability and overall performance.
- Provide in-market coaching and conduct individual visits with customers to address specific issues.
- Ensure 100% outlet coverage within assigned routes.
- Drive business development initiatives and expand the customer base.
- Participate in meetings as required to align strategy and performance objectives.
- Proactively develop and implement strategies for internal and external business growth to increase market share.
- Align team with strategic pivots and organizational changes.
- Facilitate regular training sessions on critical business skills alongside the training team.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to support team development.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 3-year Business or Commercial tertiary qualification, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the FMCG sector, with at least 1 year in a sales-focused role.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to drive results, manage teams, and achieve sales targets.
