About the Program
FlySafair is looking for a dedicated Customer Service Agent to deliver outstanding service to passengers while ensuring smooth ticketing, booking, and customer support operations.
Job Description
- Assist passengers with ticket sales, reservations, and flight changes while explaining applicable rules, terms, regulations, and procedures when required.
- Provide support to customers during flight disruptions or cancellations and assist with alternative arrangements where necessary.
- Handle confidential information responsibly while addressing customer queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the Supervisor on duty for further assistance.
- Deliver professional and friendly customer service at all times to ensure a positive travel experience for passengers.
Job Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential).
- Previous airport and ticket sales experience (Essential).
- Willingness and ability to work weekends, public holidays, flexible hours, and shift schedules when required.
- Good computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong understanding of delivering excellent customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including professional telephone etiquette.
- Effective conflict resolution abilities.
