Job Overview
The Sales Representative II is responsible for monitoring assigned routes and customers against established company standards while identifying sales opportunities within the operational area. The role involves collecting and analyzing customer information, maintaining accurate records, and supporting customers through regular visits. The Sales Representative II also contributes to increasing product visibility, strengthening brand awareness, and supporting sales growth through in-store activities and promotions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate assigned routes and customer outlets in line with company sales standards.
  • Collect, analyze, and report customer and market information to support sales strategies.
  • Identify potential sales opportunities and recommend appropriate actions to the supervisor.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to maintain strong relationships and provide sales support.
  • Promote and sell products when opportunities arise to increase sales performance.
  • Process and administer customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Organize and manage in-store promotional activities to support brand visibility.
  • Drive brand awareness through effective merchandising and promotional initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and customer information for reporting purposes.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in a retail or sales environment.
  • Experience working within the FMCG industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in brand promotion and awareness initiatives.
