Overview
The New Business Development Consultant is responsible for driving growth by acquiring new clients, expanding existing relationships, and delivering end-to-end integrated risk mitigation solutions. This role involves designing, costing, proposing, and presenting complex security solutions across both Commercial and Group offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business and proactively grow turnover within existing and new client bases.
- Achieve revenue targets and planned sales goals, adjusting strategies as required.
- Conduct site surveys to assess security requirements and design comprehensive solutions.
- Prepare, cost, and present detailed proposals and quotations in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, addressing queries promptly.
- Plan, coordinate, and attend to client requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Assist with marketing initiatives and support business development campaigns.
- Compile and submit weekly and monthly management reports.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities.
- Ensure all contracts, quotations, and technical documentation are accurate and complete.
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities through cold calling and other business development activities.
- Ensure only approved equipment and solutions are sold in line with company policies.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Post-matric qualification or equivalent.
- Senior solution sales experience in the security industry.
- Computer literate, with advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Professional and well-presented.
- Ability to work under pressure and extended hours when required.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
- PSIRA Grade C registration (company requirement).
