Job Description

Overview

The New Business Development Consultant is responsible for driving growth by acquiring new clients, expanding existing relationships, and delivering end-to-end integrated risk mitigation solutions. This role involves designing, costing, proposing, and presenting complex security solutions across both Commercial and Group offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business and proactively grow turnover within existing and new client bases.
  • Achieve revenue targets and planned sales goals, adjusting strategies as required.
  • Conduct site surveys to assess security requirements and design comprehensive solutions.
  • Prepare, cost, and present detailed proposals and quotations in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, addressing queries promptly.
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend to client requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives and support business development campaigns.
  • Compile and submit weekly and monthly management reports.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities.
  • Ensure all contracts, quotations, and technical documentation are accurate and complete.
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities through cold calling and other business development activities.
  • Ensure only approved equipment and solutions are sold in line with company policies.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Post-matric qualification or equivalent.
  • Senior solution sales experience in the security industry.
  • Computer literate, with advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Professional and well-presented.
  • Ability to work under pressure and extended hours when required.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
  • PSIRA Grade C registration (company requirement).
