Job Description
Overview
The Sales Consultant Kleinmond is responsible for driving sales of armed monitoring and response agreements, as well as security solutions including alarm systems, CCTV, and electric fences. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, building strong client relationships, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, promote, and sell security solutions to new and existing clients.
- Drive sales of alarm system upgrades, CCTV systems, electric fences, and other security technologies.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets through proactive engagement and follow-up.
- Cultivate relationships with estate agents, builders, architects, and other stakeholders to generate new business opportunities.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to monitor performance and ensure targets are achieved.
- Maintain accurate administrative records related to sales activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous sales experience with a proven track record, ideally in capital goods or technical sales.
- Knowledge of intruder detection systems such as IDS, DSC, AJAX, or similar is advantageous.
- Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
Requirements & Attributes
- Self-motivated, energetic, and results-driven.
- Exceptional sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, email, and internet use.
- Presentable, professional appearance with a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

- Achieve revenue targets and grow the client base while maintaining relationships with existing clients.
- Ensure timely follow-up on leads and quotes to maximize conversion rates.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and address client needs promptly.
