Introduction

Clicks Group Careers is seeking two customer-focused and energetic individuals to join the team as Shop Assistant Cashier x2. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional service through efficient point of sale operations, accurate transaction processing, and maintaining high merchandising standards to ensure a positive in-store experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute all point of sale operational activities efficiently and within required timelines
  • Ensure accurate scanning of merchandise and correct processing of payments, including clubcard rewards
  • Safeguard cash and ensure strict adherence to cash handling procedures
  • Promote the Clicks ClubCard programme and actively enroll new members to achieve participation targets
  • Inform customers about promotions and special offers to drive sales and enhance value
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by being visible, approachable, and professional as a brand ambassador
  • Maintain merchandising standards and uphold housekeeping requirements in line with store guidelines
  • Support the company’s vision of being the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by living the company values
  • Stay informed about products, ranges, promotions, and events to provide accurate assistance to customers

Knowledge Requirements

  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Retail or FMCG background with an understanding of merchandising and promotional principles
  • Knowledge of stock management procedures
  • Understanding of customer service excellence
