About the Program

Introduction
Clicks is seeking a Pharmacist to ensure the efficient operation of the dispensary while delivering high standards of pharmaceutical care. This role focuses on meeting sales and compliance targets and contributing to a competitive advantage for the brand.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Objectives:

  • Provide accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, and professional advice in line with Clicks’ standards, good pharmacy practice, and the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) regulations.
  • Manage all dispensary operations efficiently, including stock management, shrinkage control, housekeeping, and administration in compliance with SAPC and company standards.
  • Focus on core dispensary and clinic targets to ensure operational viability.
  • Oversee and support the training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Interns, ensuring SAPC requirements are met.
  • Execute customer service initiatives to create a positive customer experience, drive loyalty, and achieve club card participation targets.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, including centre managers, suppliers, and distribution centres, to maximise business opportunities.
  • Integrate pharmacy services with the clinic and healthcare aisle to provide customers with a comprehensive healthcare offering.
  • Support Clicks’ vision as the customer’s first-choice health and beauty retailer by embodying company values.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Essential: Registered Pharmacist with SAPC
  • Desirable: Retail pharmacy experience
  • Desirable: Unisolv experience
