Job Description
Fidelity is seeking a detail-oriented Receipting Clerk to manage the accurate processing, recording, and maintenance of financial transactions and receipts. This role ensures that all payments are correctly received, recorded, and stored in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process payments from customers, vendors, and other sources.
- Issue receipts for all payments received.
- Accurately enter payment information into the company’s financial system.
- Reconcile receipts with financial records to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all receipts and payments.
- Assist with financial reporting and auditing processes as required.
- Respond to inquiries and provide support to customers regarding payment receipts.
Qualifications & Skills
- Matric or Finance-related qualification.
- Previous clerical or accounting experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
