Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised Skills Development Facilitator to manage, coordinate, and implement the organisation’s skills development and learning plans. This role ensures compliance with legislation, effective grant and budget management, and delivery of learning initiatives that align with the Learning & Development (L&D) strategy while supporting overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage the L&D and Skills Development plans.
  • Coordinate financial processes, budgeting, and SETA grant management.
  • Ensure governance, compliance, and risk management across all skills development initiatives.
  • Engage and coordinate with stakeholders to support learning and development objectives.
  • Manage general administration related to skills development activities.
  • Oversee WSP/ATR submissions and SETA grant processes.
  • Coordinate B-BBEE Skills Development submissions and audit requirements.
  • Advise and support line management on skills development and compliance matters.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Completion of the SDF Education, Training, and Development Practices (ETDP) SETA course.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Skills Development role.
  • Proven experience managing WSP/ATR submissions and SETA grant processes.
  • Experience in B-BBEE Skills Development submissions and audits.
  • Strong knowledge of South African employment legislation including Skills Development Act, National Qualifications Framework, Skills Development Levies Act, SAQA Act, BBBEE Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, and Employment Equity Act.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget tracking skills.
  • Excellent project coordination and execution capabilities.
  • Advanced computer literacy (MS Office / Google Suite).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
