Truworths Careers invites qualified professionals to join our Group Head Office Audit team as a Head Office Internal Auditor. This role provides an exciting opportunity to perform integrated and process audits across the Truworths Group, including entities in South Africa and the UK. Role Purpose
As a Head Office Internal Auditor, you will assess and test financial and operational processes, identify risks, evaluate controls, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct risk and control assessments for financial and operational processes
• Evaluate process designs and identify opportunities for improvement
• Perform integrated audits across multiple entities
• Conduct control design testing, effectiveness testing, and substantive testing, including analytical reviews
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports
• Follow up on audit findings to ensure resolution and compliance
Qualifications and Experience
• Relevant B-degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification such as CIA is advantageous
• Minimum of 2 years post-article experience in Internal Audit
• Experience performing end-to-end risk-based audits independently
• Exposure to business processes and auditing Finance Department activities is advantageous
• Internal Audit experience within the Retail sector is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Sound computer literacy and technical proficiency
