Job Description

Overview

The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing security operations at client sites to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and the delivery of professional, efficient services. Reporting to the Area Manager, the Site Manager monitors risks, manages staff, coordinates investigations, and maintains strong client relationships to uphold service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Evaluate risks and threats continuously and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations with clients are met consistently.
  • Maintain positive relationships between Fidelity Security Services Group and clients.
  • Manage responses to and investigations of serious incidents, including theft, armed robberies, vehicle theft, and break-ins.
  • Liaise daily with Operations Management to address operational issues and resource allocation.
  • Assist Operations Management and clients with special events, ad hoc requests, and investigations.
  • Oversee shift scheduling to ensure all security posts are covered daily.
  • Manage all administrative tasks related to site operations.

Reporting and Compliance

  • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and incident reports to both Fidelity Management and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric certificate.
  • PSIRA Grade A registration and accreditation.
  • At least 10 years of management experience, with a minimum of 5 years in security management.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in logistics and warehouse management.
  • Experience managing estates and retail environments.
  • Strong people management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transport.
  • No criminal record.
  • Sound planning, leadership, organizational, and client liaison skills.
